The aim of this tool was to provide practical experience with some of the most popular tools currently used to develop GenAI applications.
I often have difficulty finding new books to read, so I created this straightforward tool based on my personal use case.
With the objective of getting familiarized with the most famous tools in the AI environment right now, I decided to use OpenAI's LLMs (GPT-4o), the LangChain library as a wrapper for interacting with the LLMs and creating chains, Streamlit with its cloud version for the public UI, and Tavily to enhance the LLMs' ability to search online.
The result is a very simple but useful assistant that helps you discover new books and provides links to a Spanish bookstore for any user willing to acquire them.
